About Sandy

My name is Sandy Christiansen and I want to welcome you to Travel By Sandy, an independently owned and operated franchise partnering with Cruise Planners!

 

Raising three sons, being an instructor, Law of Attraction student, avid traveler, and certified life coach, I delight in helping others create memories, develop friendships and live their lives without regret. A few years ago I decided to practice what is often preached to many: Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.  

 

Creating Travel By Sandy was an opportunity to use my skills in a fresh new way. As a mother I have over 26 years of experience in scheduling, handling emergency situations, and managing even the most meticulous details. I’ve also been a long-time Jazzercise instructor and developed a knack for working with groups and promoting fun.

 

I took it upon myself to learn everything I could about the industry and educate myself. I have completed an array of training and certifications so I can better serve my clients. I aim to save you time, stress and money, all while building a lasting relationship so that every trip you plan with me gets personalized care.

 

I am a strong advocate of accessible travel and am Special Needs Certified to help those with a handicap experience the wonderful world of travel. Travel By Sandy is the first travel agency to be certified as an Aphasia Friendly Business by the National Aphasia Association. No one should be denied life's experiences.
