This year, Mexico City’s second annual ‘Vallarta Pride’ celebration is scheduled for May 22-26 and will include beach parties, mass commitment ceremonies, music festivals, fashion shows, and other activities from participating bars and clubs.

Places such as Puerto Vallarta has been one of the top destinations for LGBT travelers for over 60 years, and includes the LGBT-friendly hotel Casa Cupula and popular LGBT clubs: Pace’s Ranch, La Niche, CC Slaughters, and Enter on Weekends.

Casa Cupula offers activities and tours for their travelers, such as jungle zip-lining, an Ada Sailboat Banderas Bay cruise, or a guided tour of Botanical gardens. Other LGBT-friendly hotels are found in the Zona Rosa. These include:

• Hotel Geneve - described as being over-the-top, but not campy
• Hotel JW Marriott - on the Mexico City’s top spots for same-sex marriage

• W Mexico City
