Fundraising Cruises are becoming more and more popular because they give non-profit organizations the ability to increase donor giving, generate greater interest, create an encore event year after year, and have fun.  

Fundraising and Charity Cruises offer many benefits:

• One way is to mark up the price of the cabin. For example: on a four-day cruise if the price is $399 per guest and the non-profit marks up the cabin price $20 (as the donor’s contribution), the non-profit promotes the cruise at $419 per guest. This increases the donation to $40 a cabin and if the charity sells 25 cabins it equate to $1500 for the charity.
• Another way to increase funds: The charity can raffle off each free booking that they earn. $10 for each Raffle ticket x Sell 500 raffle tickets = $5,000 to the charity.
• Selling t-shirts or visors with the group cruise information on it
• Holding a scavenger hunt on board and charging a donation
• Holding informational classes or events on board in which a nominal donation amount is requested.
