I have used cruise planners for many trips When I had a problem, they were on top of it. I was diagnosed with COVID the night before a cruise and they immediately assisted me. When things go wrong on a trip, you want a travel agent that has your back. Anyone can help you with travel arrangements, but only the "best of the best" can help you when your trip has major problems. Sandy is a very creative travel professional and she is there for you from the beginning to the end of your travel experience. Sandy is my hero! She volunteers for a group called Aphasia Recovery Connection, booking special cruises for patients and their family and friends. Last August, my friend and I drove from Dallas to Galveston, arriving late the evening before our aphasia cruise. When going through our paperwork that evening, we discovered that I had left my passport at home. To go back and get it would be a 9-hour round trip. I called Sandy to see if there was any other documentation that might be acceptable. She and her husband were heading to Galveston very early the next morning, and volunteered to drive out of their way to retrieve my passport. I can't thank her enough, not only for working with an excellent non-profit, but for saving my friend and I a grueling drive. She is simply the best!!! Sandy is my hero! I often sail on Royal Caribbean as a volunteer on the Aphasia Recovery Connection cruises. Generally, I enjoy my time on the RC ships. The Grandeur of the Seas is one of the smaller ships in the fleet. I believe I have sailed on this particular ship before, but I have been on the larger ships to have gotten "spoiled". The same service and stellar staff was present, but not the luxury. I was traveling alone. I absolutely LOVED that. It was the most relaxing cruise I have ever been on. I recommend solo cruising for introverts. I didn't have to "meet up" with anyone and only did what I wanted to do. The past cruise we went on was a (very) long time in the making, all due to Covid related delays in travel. Sandy has been a true blessing and leader, guiding us through all the various changes and updates experienced. It was such a pleasure to work with Sandy. She took care of all the details and I did not have to worry about anything! She purposely booked us with a rate that was flexible so that in the event of a drop in fares, we would be able to rebook at a lower price. And…it happened…she called me one day saying that Carnival was having a huge sale and she rebooked us so that we could benefit from the promotion. That saved us about $1000. I would never have know to do that if I had booked online myself. I highly recommend using Sandy!!!
